The 6th time already PORTFOLIO-REVIEW becomes the central event of  the International Summer Workshop, conducted by «FotoDepartament».During the Portfolio-review young photographers show their photos to experts, who represent  different photography areas, and can give support for young author’s development.

Meetings with professionals can help a young photographer to find his own place and way in modern photography, realize the level of his works, and what’s most important – it can help him to set up a new network of professional contacts, because the portfolio review gives the opportunity to have a private meeting with experts, exchange the contacts and think about joint projects.

Experts of Summer Portfolio-rewiew 2010 are members of fashion-, photo-,  social and political editions; photographers, photo-editors, gallerists, curators, etc.

Time-limit:

11am – 2 pm. Portfolio-review for the participants of the International Summer Workshop 2010 “Ways of Photography” only. Each student can show his portfolio to 2 experts free of charge. Entrants of masterclasses may show their portfolio for free to 1 expert. Extra sessions will be charged.

2 pm. – 6pm. Portfolio-review is open for all photographers

Obligatory: in your message please mention the name of an expert or experts (photographers, photo-editors, curators etc.) to whom you want to show your works.

One session of portfolio-review with one expert lasts 15 minutes.

We bring to your notice, that number of sessions with each expert is limited! FotoDepartament will set time of portfolio-review sessions for each applicant in order of receiving applications. Timetable of sessions with names of entrants will be announced before the Portfolio-review and also all participants will be notified about time of their sessions by e-mail.

Cost of participation:

700 RUB – one session with one expert

950 RUB – two sessions with two experts on your choice

1400 RUB – three sessions

1700 RUB – four sessions

The payment is made on the day of the Portfolio-review.
